Tru Thoughts Covers
When I was in New Zealand a very cool album was released on Tru Thoughts records. After seeing Lizzy Parks at the Rainbow a few weeks back (one of my favourite gigs of the year actually), I thought I’d post this tune!
World Touring!
Just got to the end of my first (of two) weeks round New Zealand. Such an amazing place – definitely on the ‘go back there’ list!
Jazz Club (nice)
Went to see the Sub Ensemble at the Rainbow on Wednesday night – what a great gig. One of their latest creations is Chris Mapp’s interpretation of 4hero’s ‘Humans’, which sounded great – really inspired me to start writing for a band again this year at Uni, we’ll see how that turns out in a few months time!

Not related to anything in particular (except for that I saw Shlomo with Hexstatic last Weekend at The Big Chill) – I just think this video is extremely cool!
Birmingham Jazz Presents: The Sub Ensemble
Birmingham Jazz Presents: The Sub Ensemble: Really looking forward to this gig on Wednesday – its been a while since I’ve seen them play but The Sub Ensemble remain one of my favourite Birmingham bands. Should be a good one!
